Truworths
Complaint ignored since 1 September 2013

The following is an abridged version of the complaint I made on 1 Sept 2013 about an incident that occurred on 31.8.13 that was ignored by Truworths:
* My mother, sister-in-law & I were bullied by staff by being told that we couldn't stand on a particular side of the change room when other people were standing there & being allowed into the changeroom.
* Maseko (one of the staff on duty) first refused to let me help my mother (who has a physical handicap) and hit me with one of the plastic changeroom numbers.
* She refused to give me her name and I had to ask other staff on duty.
* The other staff bad mouthed us while we were waiting for a manager to be called.
* Maseko told the manager that we had called her because Maseko "was black" which is ridiculous and we strenuously object to race being brought into an issue that was not at all related to race.
* Maseko then laughed at us and the manager did nothing.
* We made the decision not to purchase anything purely because of how badly we were treated.
I complained directly to Truworths on 1.09.13 and my complaint was ignored.
