3 Weeks no goods and part of order cancelled!!

Ordered 3 games and a kettle from [URL Removed] on 2 September. The initial delivery date was around 13 September. Now the reason for this was they were awaiting stock for 1 item from supplier which was ok. Then delivery date shifted to 18 September due to stock arriving late again fine. After the 18th I did not receive any information and had to call in to see what was up with my order. The person I spoke to said the 1 item was still pending from supplier and they would contact me regarding splitting my order and sending the 3 items. After another few days I got a mail stating that the order was shipped with 3 items after 3 weeks and the outstanding item is now cancelled. How can you guys just cancel an item after making me wait 3 weeks stating you waiting for stock from the supplier. How can the supplier mysteriously now be out of stock? Your sales person says that when it comes back in stock I can order again which means I forfeit the sales prices and I must pay full price! Why do you guys advertise a special, charge the customer, hold the money for 3 weeks and then just cancel. I wonder how much of interest you guys make holding customers money for periods of time.
