FAULTY CAR RADIO AND R850-00 GONE!!!

I bought a car radio at cash crusaders on the 29 NOV 2012 and when i got there they were busy testing the thing, so the box was not sealed in the first place. paid cash for it and left. I had it installed by SM Audio in the southern suburbs and all was fine until the a week later the radio settings started changing on it's own, songs started skipping and the button to change the settings wouldn't work. long story short, i took it in to them and they sent for repairs they gave it back 3weeks later, got it back with the same problem, returned it a few days later and they sent it in for repairs again and I got it back yesterday 24 JAN 2013, with the same problems and more... They refuse to give my money back or replace it because the installer was not vat registered. Had words with the manager at the head office this morning 25 JAN 2013 and they basically telling me they will have to look into the matter before they can credit me. I am highly cheesed off because i drove back and forth with this thing and no progess at all... My time, my money wasted on poor quality and poor service..
