Inferior quality

I am extremely disgusted with the customer service of Gucci. I purchased a pair of very expensive Gucci sunglasses in Italy a number of years ago. A couple of years later small bubbles started appearing inside of the lenses. I took the glasses in to Gucci in Sandton and was informed that it cannot be fixed as the range has been discontinued and that the bubbles are as a result of the THE SUNS UV RAYS!!! And since the glasses are no longer under guarantee they can nothing for me. I fail to understand how a product with the sole function of protecting your eyes against UV rays can disintegrate as a result of the very same thing that they are suppose to protect against. This is obviously a manufactures defect and an extremely poor quality product which Gucci refuses to take responsibility for. I am amazed that such a well known brand can make such poor products. I will never buy any of their products again.
