Weak quality Sunglasses

I purchased a pair of sunglasses to the value of R130. I had it for a month before it started wearing out until it eventually broke. When I took it back, the store assistant told me that I can't return or refund the item as my 30days to return it has passed. My reason for this complaint is simple. If I buy a R30 pair of sunglasses from the stalls, it lasts a couple of months up to a couple of years. Why can't this product which I bought from what is believed to be the leading retailer in SA last even 2 months? This makes me wonder how these products are manufactures and what materials are used? If myself or any customer purchase an expensive product, we expect it to last at least a year or more. If someone were to ask me about Edgars's quality, I will tell them its worse than a product at the stalls. I would not advise them to purchase anything from Edgars as you don't get the value for your money. This raises the question: Are you buying quality or just tricked into thinking you buying quality, whilst you buying a product manufactured with cheap material. Very disappointed and unhappy. Will not leave matter here as it is not fair!!!
