Yesterday was my worst ever experience at a Pick n Pay. Went to go purchase 4 items and ended up standing in a long Que to purchase my items for more then an half n hour. Whilst waiting in the Que to be served the cashier rang her bell twice for two different customers she served. For the 1st customer we almost waited 4 minutes before the supervisor assisted. The 2nd customer almost waited the same time as there was only one supervisor on the floor. A lot of tills were open but no cashiers available. This was really not what ive come to known when it comes to Pick n Pay and their high standards. I myself was a cashier at PnP Table view for over six years and cant recall having served such delivery to customers. Eventually when i reached the tillpoint to pay for my items i called the supervisor and asked her whats happening with the standard of PnP service. She told me that she can only do as much as she can and immediately called the manageress. She told me staff didn't pitch for work and will definitely receive warnings today. It was very alarming to me that her response would be of such a nature as she herself looked very distressed. Seriously have to look @ intervention as customers walked
