Poor service to match their attitude

On the 10/3/2013 my wife went into Clicks to buy a few items whilst I waited outside. I noticed the Manageress in and out behind the tills and then she answered a call, all this while there are 9 customers waiting in line and only one cashier assisting.
I called her after the call and asked her if it was possible to get another cashier to assist THEIR customers and with a huge effort she returned to the PA and within 5 seconds 2 other cashiers arrived.
I thanked her and asked if it was necessary for her customers to ask her to make sure that they get served, so a snotty remark and she turned away from me and down the isle she went.
Lady, you have to be blind not to see your customers need assistance so I have to take it that you just DON'T care, If you cannot serve your customers and they leave, you will not be necessary any more, or will you?
