Misleading old customers

My grandmother was called by EDCON people to come to one of their stores to make purchase cause she hasn't done that in while, so she told them that she would go during the week or over the weekend. so when she got there yesterday, she was told that her card was blocked and that she had to reaply for a new one, she was then sent home and told that they will call her after two days to inform her if the account was approved or declined. why would EDCON call a 83year old granny who is using a stick to get around and tell her to come to one f their stores while the account was blocked, for her to wait in long queues and be moved around like a crazy person, they should've informed her the begging that she would have to reply for the account, or did they take advanatage of the fact that she was old, or is this how EDCON treat older people. they and mistreated her and this is not accepetable.
