Pre-Approved Account

I went to Edgars to open an account. When my details were entered on their system, they found that I was pre-approved for a Jet account. Although the gentleman who was assisting me explained how Edcon group works, I am adamant that I want an Edgars account and am not willing to take a Jet account-something I did not ask for or even want. They called an operator who assured me that the pre-approved Jet account it closed. Since then I have visited the Edgars store twice and on both occasions they could not assist me due to the pre-approved account.
My complaint:
1. I was given a pre-approved account without my consent
2. In attempt to close the pre-approved account-I am told every single time that it is not possible
3. Edcon expects me to take on something I do not want nor requested
4. I have wasted my own time going to the stores to find out the progress of my application-no Edcon staff has contacted me directly to inform me of the status
