Declined...???

So I would like my daughter to build a credit rating for herself at a store that has something she would like to purchase. I agreed to take full responsibility for the bill should she not pay it. She is a 20-year old student at TUT. I have a good rating and good standing with Edgars!

Edgars response was to decline it and say no she must have other trade references before they can approve it.

This is just absurd! She must start somewhere! Its almost like convincing a bank you DO NOT need a loan before they actually approve it!
