Wrong price on the shelfs

I was with my wife and 2 brothers to buy groceries on Sunday. At the fridge where the chickens are kept I took 2 5kg boxes of chicken (one Drumsticks and the other thighs). They were marked R99 on the shelf. I thus carried on doing my shopping. But at the till we were told by the cashier that the bar code on the box was not of Shoprite. They then called the manager Tebogo Malatji who took the things to go and get them priced. But after around 10 minutes when he came back the items were priced around R120 and 150 each. I thus made him aware of the fact that the items were in fact marked on the shelf R99. But he said I should go and check again. On my arrival at the fridges where they keep the stock. I found that they had removed all of the price tags on the shelf. And they had priced the items correctly. He then told me that no matter what I say he will not correct the error his staff had created. I feel they should correct their error.
