Makro does not honour prices

I seen a large storage container that make marked for R79 on the shelf, whilst the small one was marked as R49. Upon paying, I was told the price is incorrect.
They called the area staff who went to check the shelf, but took over 30 minutes to come back and said the price is not R79, instead its R89. When my wife went back with him, the entire shelf was repacked, perhaps this explains why the guy took so long to return (clearly he went to the shelf to re-arrange it)
The manager was not helpful at all, stating that is the price.

I would like you to view your CCTV camera footage to verify how long I stood at the cashier (i was at cashier 40, at around 12pm), also please view the footage for this particular aisle in the store to see how the situation was conveniently manipulated.

I am shocked that staff at Makro would do this. The fact that you have dishonest staff, and useless managers is surprising, especially considering that Customers do have rights which are further enforced by the Consumer Protection Act.

I would appreciate some feedback before escalating this matter to the NCC
