My sneakers are damaged just after one wash

I bought two pairs of sneakers for my son and myself in Cape town Waterfront Mall at the Scene in March. I wore them a couple of times and I jsut started washing them last month with a Plush washing detergent because they were very dirty because of the light colour. I tried to be careful washing them because they are suede and I loved them so I did not want to ruin the suede. The colour started coming off and the label at the back came out on both shoes and the noen yellow became blue on one shoe. I took the shoes to the Eastgate store because I reside in Jhb aand one thing about the poor service I was given in Cpt twn store when buying the shoes was that I was never given any assistance or instruction or advice on how to maintain my shoes. I gave them to the cashier I found at the store and explained what had happened. She promised to give the shoes to the manager but the manager called and told me there is nothing they can do I must come get my shoes and I refused because I spent a lot of money for those shoes and he said he will call me back since I am still waiting.
