Poor after sales care and repair of damaged goods

I purchased three pairs of shoes last December. The first day I wore one of the pairs of shoes, the heels fell off. I took it back to the store a few months later for an exchange with proof of purchase and they said they wouldn't't exchange the shoes. It has been almost a year since I bought the shoes. The last time I went to the store, they had not sent the shoes for repairs yet. Very disappointing especially after such great service in the store initially.
