At House & Home we will match price, it is a lie!

Day one I arrive, and B tells me they do not run the special on the HD PVR & Walka combo anymore, but will match the competition if I can prove the other company's price. I go to HiFi Corp and get their proof. B takes my mobile number and tells me she will phone me the next day when it will be sorted out and they will be ready to sell it to me. She did not phone. Day 3, I went back really disappointed. B said she is still trying. The manager comes and starts phoning around. His superiors obviously do not trust his word and asks him to go and get the proof himself, after B has obtained it also, like me as well. He said B will phone me later the same day with good news to collect. She did not phone. I went back after work and was told they do not want to help me. I spent more than 3 hours helping them obtaining proof and waiting, spent all the fuel and was sent away empty handed to the competition who is still running the special for a further 4 days. Bad service Checkers House & Home, bad attitude and bad for breaching contract by not keeping your word, not even once in the 3 days!
