Match the price on any sports suppliments

I see the sign saying we will match the price of sports supplements, so i walk into Game stores and they have the product i want on sale for R409.00 (clicks price was R440.00). I go into clicks and firstly the cashiers didn't know about the special, so they call the manager over and he goes off not knowing anything about the special either to discuss the price matching with a colleague. He comes back and says that they will only match the advertised price if i bring in a pamphlet from game, here is the problem cause games product wasn't on special so it wasn't in their pamphlet, so instead of arguing i just bought it from game. i had a long think about it on the way home and when you display a price on a shelf or on a website that is considered advertising the price. so clicks you lost out by first not knowing about the promotion that you had on, which is just pathetic how are you able to run a store and not see all the massive signs hanging over the ilse stating the promotion, and the fact that you are so stubborn in denying your customers the price that the promotion says. if the manager really wanted proof he could have just walked into game about 70m away from his store and seen
