Make idle promises and swear at customers

My wife phones House & Home in Colonade to find out whether they had stock of some patio furniture.

Thomas told my wife that they didn't have stock, but that they had a unit on display that we could purchase.

My wife then asked Thomas whether we could have discount on the display model due to the obvious wear and tear from being on display, and he said that we could.

Based on this, we drove all the way to Colonade from Pretoria East, only for Thomas to tell us that his manager refused to give us the discount.

I then asked to speak to the manager, who became EXTREMELY aggressive and threatened me and swore at me and told me to get out of his store. How on EARTH did this person become a manager when he has zero people skills, to customers and doesn't have any idea on how to run a store.

I demand that the manager is fired immediately or else I WILL NEVER set foot in a House & Home store in my entire life again.
