I found a pair of Bluetooth earphones at Musica and wanted to try them before purchasing. The salesman told me they do not allow testing of earphones. He said that I should buy the earphones and return them if I was not satisfied.

After purchasing them I was not satisfied as they do not work with my Apple Mac. I went to return the earphones but the store manager told me he will not do a refund because there is nothing wrong with the earphones and that the box doesn't explicitly say that Apple Mac is supported. So my expectation that Bluetooth earphones should work on a Mac is unwarranted.

I find it unethical and unacceptable for Musica to not allow me to test a product before purchasing; provide me with an assurance that I could buy and return the product if I was not satisfied; and upon trying to return the product tell me that it's my fault and that it is perfectly fine for Musica to take R1000 of my money and leave me with a product that doesn't even meet my needs.

I will be contacting their customer care centre, however, that I need to go to such lengths to return a product is disgraceful.
