I went Into the makro store with a definite purpose of buying a printer looking at different specs deciding which to buy. I was assisted by Anand and Afzal when I specified whats the purpose of my purchasing of the printer (campus work). I mentioned I needed to photocopy text books n they clearly showed me the hp 6700 premium printer n tld me its the best for me and a really good printer as it was also on special. Due to campus only starting in feb I only opened the printer a while after n later discovered it doesnt print textbooks due to a sensor which requires the cover fully closed. I then went back in to both the salesman and asked them if they knew about the sensor which they claimed not to know about. I then told them that they misinformed me as they didnt know themselves and must take back the printer. Manager of department arrives n I stated the story but they refuse to accept it back therefore I call the senior manager but they both refuse to accept it. I clearly proved to them their salesman didnt know about their product themselves. Makro claims I shuve brought it back within 14 days bt I hadnt even opened it due to campus beggining late and never expected such a problem
