Ink dried out while new printer in for repairs

My new HP printer was faulty after just 2 months, I took it back to Makro Ottery and they did not want to refund it. They sent it to HP who then replaced the AFD and I received the printer back only to find that I cannot use it as the ink has all dried out! Makro Taped up the almost full cartridges and placed it in a packet along with all the other accesories which was sealed only to realise once I received it back from repairs that the ink has all dried out. No ink has leaked etc. This has put me further behind as I am runnung a business and I have already been without the printer for about 2 weeks. I cannot believe that the cartridges has dried up this quick, only use the printer to fax off documents!
