Misleading pricing and blame the sales staff

Makro CapeGate has a special on an HP 4615 printer for R999. Demo model on shelf with big colored price tag below it. Boxes are stacked below it. Right at floor level is a normal small price tag of R1999 with the same printer name on it. At the till it scans R1999. The sales manager comes and says its the wrong printer and they want to give me a box from the returns table. The store manager claims that the price below the demo model is right but the boxes below with that printer in it is not. The box states that it has an extra cartridge inside. There isn't a single box with the printer on the floor for the R999. The store manager then starts telling me he is going to fire the sales guy that told me the boxes with the exact printer in question in it below the demo model are the correct ones. That manger should own up to the fact that they are on purpose stocking an item below a sales sign that is supposedly not the right. It sickens me that they are using such cheap sales techniques.
