Good Afternoon,

I received a call today to confirm my new credit limit at Edcon.
I however do not have an account at Edcon.
They had my correct name and cellular number.
They gave me an account number as reference which is :7000100100181024522

I have called their customer care as well as the department for some clarification however they say I do not have anything under my name, account number or identity number.

The problem is, someone called me and had my correct name on my cellphone number so my information had to come from somewhere.

I was told by Customer Care that I have a cash card with Edgars, i told them i don't and when i asked for the information, they would not give it to me as I said I did not have a card and am not allowed the information even though it is under my name???

Please can you send me the information with regards to the cash card as someone is using my name.

They referred to me as per my maiden name

I need some clarification on this matter as this cannot come out of nowhere and I am terrified that someone has opened an account in my name and I will be liable - Please help
