Possible information & not acting on promise

EDCON obtained my details from I do not know where. I am not a customer. When receiving a sms linking me to someone else and a cash account over December they promised to delete my details in 48 hours, that was on 6 Jan 2014. It is now 23 Jan and I just received another marketing sms.

When putting my ID number into their system is gives another persons personal details with the same ID number except the last digit. The call center guy told me not to worry because it is only a cash account. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
