Number of straws you get depends on drinks bought

I went to shoprite this past Saturday at around 16:10 and I bought 2L spar letta and 1L of lemonade. Asked the kiosk ladies for straws, they gave me only 2 so I asked for 4 more as there was 6 of us and they told me I can only get 1 straw per litre bought!!! I asked for manager as this is ridiculous and the manager said I should ask the lady nicely and I told him I asked her and she refused. Eventually the manager went to fetch the straws himself.

Is this how Shoprite operates now? We have to ask staff nicely for straws??? This is extremely bad service and the ladies had attitude. I can see your staff dont know what customer service is. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED. You will never see me in any of your stores.
