Milky Lane charges for straws!!!

A wonderful day out turns out to be rather unpleasant at milky lane three rivers. Menus are given out and the waitress disappears for about 15 min. Eventually when we get our order she fails to bring straws for the spinners and when we requested straws we were told that we will be billed R1 for them each. How ludicrous, she claims that since its not a drink they don't give it. this is Sick. We ordered waffles and by the time you are done the spinners are milk shakes now do you eat it with a spoon. Even when requesting water etc this was not timeously handled. Sunday afternoon tragedy.

A friend of ours went there on a separate occasion and bought a coke and they didn't give her a straw and requested her to pay the R1 for the straw.

This is sick and behaviour. Three rivers was always known for it pathetic service and attitude our entire town knows it. But this tops the cake, No wonder Milky Lane headed the way they are. Charging for straws sick sick sick.
We wont go there again and will be putting this up in our local town website like this must be known, especially when they have been given so many chances by so many people.
