Ip off prices and poor quality items

We went to the movies at the waterfront shopping centre yesterday, Sun 29th Dec, 2.30pm show. the price one pays for food and drinks is extortion to say the least. we paid as much for popcorn etc as the 4 tickets cost. R 125 for a family of 4 with our fanatics card and R 125, 80 for 2 kids combos's and extra popcorn and coke. Have nu metro decided to start using sub-standard straws to save a buck? the straws are so flimsy you struggle to push it into the lid of your drink and by the time you have managed to push it in, it is squashed and you can hardly through it. They also seemed to have no combo boxes in which to put the 3 items you are paying for, and yet when we asked for the manager, she grumpily came out, and then produced some boxes buy why were they not available for the lady to use in the first place? should the manager not see to it that her staff have everything they need to provide the best possible service they can? As I said, we are paying a fortune for some consumables whilst we watch the movie, and you cannot even get a decent straw.
What was also irritating was the attitude of the manager. No apology and a very uninterested attitude.
