Deceiving customers and selling old food

10 weeks ago with the re launch, they were giving gifts away. That Sunday I was at the till with my son and 3 trollies of food when the announcer said that ANYBODY who is 1st at his counter with a till slip with ANY 2 Ponds products win this BIG hamper from Ponds I told my son to keep an eye on the announcer to see if somebody take their till slip before me. I ran to the cigarette counter (it was empty) and paid for my products.. I saw a lady working for Spar, opened this LARGE hamper and hide it under the counter. When I took my slip to claim my hamper, I was told that somebody already claimed the price. I wanted to know how that could be because not me OR my son saw ANYBODY submitting a till slip. I was told by this lady that the hamper which she was hiding, was for a customer who did buy the products, but went to fetch the slip in the car!! That was not the deal. After an argument I left. On Monday I spoke to George who agreed that they were wrong. Costa phoned me back. He promised that he will get me the same hamper. I leave him messages at the store EVERYDAY but he does not respond. I believe that hamper is worth R1000. I want either my hamper OR a voucher worth R1000.00.
