Cash Purchase and still no delivery

We made cash purchases at Furniture City Strubens Valley on Wednesday 26June. Delivery was confirmed to be within 72hours and to date 8 July we still have not received our furniture or a refund of money.
We've been severely inconvenienced by Furniture City's poor service, we've had unnecessary expenses, phone calls, driving back to the store etc. but still with no success.

No one calls you back to update you on any delays. Upon every follow up that we've made, we've been told a different story like the salesman never placed the order, truck got hi-jacked on the way to our premises, one of the items in the hi-jacked truck was the last stock, headoffice did not provide authorisation, just to mention a few.

They have stories to deliver our goods! They have stories to refund our money! Period provided to finalize the refund is even longer than the time now promised to deliver the goods.

What happened to good customer service, going out your way to make the customer happy???

I would not recommend Furniture City to anyone.
