Truworths

I had a Truworths account which I paid off and closed off in 2006. Now 7 years later I keep getting messages saying I owe Turworths and my account has been handed over. When I call the call centre I was told that the account was never closed and it incurred arrears, even though it was paid off?? is that??? I will sue Truworths should the listing not be removed.
