Promises made but only want the money

I purchased a Defy double door oven on the Saturday and had great service from the salesman, however I need the item then. The only stock was from the warehouse, so the salesman promised he would have it there by Sunday morning. After many sms's and phone calls with promises of him actually bringing me the stove, nothing happened.
The delivery guy at the warehouse calls me and asks me when he can deliver on Sunday. I told him it was supposed to be here already. He says that it was the first he had seen of the delivery order.
So now who do I believe, the salesman who said he had been down there and tried to fit the oven into his car or a delivery guy who says he hadent even seen the delivery note.
I am so off as I have no means of cooking for my guests and now they have gone back home to East London with a bad experience.
I will not shop there again thats for sure.
