In January this year (2013) I purchased a PS3 game - Far Cry 3 and a Portable Hard Drive - WD Elements, 1TB. In June I had problems accessing the information on the hard drive, it was not registering on the laptop or the PS. I went to Game Stores, Tygervalley and asked for assistance. They asked if I kept the slip and I said no, I didn't know that I had to and I had an account, so proof of purchase was available. So they said that they cannot help me without the date of purchase or the product. So I left. A week or two later, I went back with the hard drive and the PS3 game, in hope that with the bar codes somebody could help me. I went to customer services and they directed me to the back by all the TV's to speak to a sales person. He said that I should have kept the slip and there is nothing he can do. He did, however plug the hard drive into a laptop on display and confirm that it was not working. He said I must somehow find the date of purchase because the system in store does not allow them to check those things. I have since requested my game accounts be sent to my email address but have still not received anything!!
