APPOINTMENT NOT HONOURED even though prepaid

A friend and I made our EFT transfer payments as requested to qualify for the special, we both had our appointments for the 8th of June 2013 at 11am, on the 7th of June at about 3pm I receive a call from Ian (manager) informing me that our appointments will be postponed until the 15th of June 2013. I indicated I was unhappy about it but decided to agree to it anyway, we came to the salon on the 15th of June 2013 for my 3pm appointment, only to find that the Hair Quarters have been closed the entire day, no one had informed us of this.

When I called Ian today, he abruptly told me that ALL the staff were sick on Saturday, and that he had tried to call my friend and I to cancel the appointments for Saturday, even though both of us had our phones on and never received any calls, Ian said that they would not be able to give me an appointment at this stage and would call me back, which, from experience with a previous complaint, I know will not be happening.

I suggest not prepaying as perhaps this company is having financial difficulty honouring their appointments and this could result in permanent loss of money if this company is to go bankrupt.
