Defective Bauer product no credit/refund received

A Bauer bar fridge was purchased from House and Home Roodepoort which had broken down three times in a period of just a few months of being purchased. In April 2013 I returned the defective Bauer product to House and Home and demanded a refund. They advised that a refund is not possible but a credit note would be granted. I was fine with this up until now! I have been dealing with the complaints manager who advised that he has been dealing with the supplier and all the paper work has been completed for the credit note and is awaiting approval. It is now the 14 June and I have not received my credit note, this is totally unacceptable service. It seems as though House and Home is waiting for the Defective Bauer Bar fridge to be out of its guarantee period of one year so that I will have no leg to stand on in terms of receiving my Credit note/refund!! I demand receipt of my credit note!
