Damaged goods OUT OF THE BOX. Mr Price IGNORES us!

We purchased a headboard for our bed and spent about R6000 in store.
- Out of the box at home we saw the board they gave us was damaged
- I returned it immediately!!
- They refused to accept it.

At the Store, the Manager said they cannot accept it since they have to come to my house and look at the headboard there. Where's the logic in that!? Even though I made a HUGE effort to bring it there. I had it at the store and the manager refused to even look at it!!!

I had to take it back home after we formally logged the fault in store (apparently following the right procedure this time...?). We followed up three times since and they are NOT DOING ANYTHING about it. I stopped trying now, but it is NOT fair toward us. It is unprofessional, bad service, poor fault handling, NO customer service...

How many other customers does Mr Price treat like this?
I haven't spent my money there again. Should I?

I wonder if Mr Price will even care about this complaint?
After we went the extra mile to try and resolve, hopefully Mr Price might do the same now. Or will they?
