Advertised price does not equal selling price

Kenwood 6.5L Slow Cooker advertised in store at R 399, however, at the counter, I was asked to pay R 529, as this was the amount that was still loaded on the system. I pointed out the discrepancy in price. The Sales Consultant referred this to the store Manager, who advised that he was not willing to amend it, and he was not even willing to come talk to me about it.. I am deeply disappointed in the manner this was handled. You cannot advertise a product at one price and sell it at another, especially after being confronted about it. I also felt that House and Home was the best-priced furniture outlet, but because of my experience, I will never recommend them or consider going there again and would appreciate being reimbursed for the price difference.
