I decided to give Pick n Pay online shopping another go, having tried once in 2007 and been terribly disappointed. When I received the free delivery email offer, the option was attractive being a owkring mom and not relishing the thought of dashing through the shops after work.
Having placed a sizeable order, I was bitterly disappointed yet again. Despite being overcharged, half of the goods (specifically vegetables needed for a function I was hosting that evening), did not arrive. When I tried to call the service centre, it was my misfortune to have a very new operator handle my call. Refusing (or not willing) to obtain the tax invoice from the store concerned, I received in excess of three phonecalls at work, each time asking silly questions.
I will not be using this service again and I will DEFINITELY not be paying for this type of service. Very disappointing. The only compliment I can give is that the order was delivered on time.
