Clicks "not" responsible for misleading ad

On December 28, 2012 i visited Clicks and saw an advertisement in their store of a male cologne, 50ml for R189.00. I asked the sales lady on the floor if i could purchase a bottle and she informed me that they do not have stock available. I spoke to her manager to enquire whether they can supply me with a coupon until their stock arrives. The manager then informed me that she would contact their other branches to find out if they have stock. She said that she would get back to me and i then therefore left. I followed up on Jan 2, 2012 after i received no feedback from the manager as she had promised. I spoke to a male manager and he informed me that he could not supply me with a coupon &promised me that he would have the matter resolved as he is waiting on the supplier. I then waited for a week and saw that Clicks tried to make contact with me and then went to the store. A female manager informed me that she received an answer from "back office" that they do not supply the cologne in 50ml and that clicks carries no responsibility. I as a customer felt that i was misled by the ad. It is unacceptable that such a big chain store makes a mistake like this and takes no responsibility!
