Do not want to exchange 2 dog jerseys

I bought 2 jerseys for my dogs on Saturday 11th May 2013. Today when I wanted to return them the sales person/owner told me in a very rude way that we cannot return the items and I'm welcome to take my business elsewhere. This is simply unacceptable as people should have the right to return items if they discover at home that they do not fit. I'm aware certain items are excluded for example underwear etc. but this is stuff for little dogs after all!
