No advertised Stock

I phone PnP Durbanville this morning to find out what they charge per Kilogram for their tenderised steak.

I was informedof the price and hung up.

It was a very good price (It's been for at least 2 weeks) and went to the store to get some (2Kg).

As I walked into the store I saw an advertisement for the mentioned tenderised steak. I immediately made my way to the butchery just to find that there was NO STOCK.

Could the person on the phone this morning not think to tell me that they didn't currently have any stock?

I wasted my time and petrol! I am a busy chef and not a desperate housewive who can swing around any time she pleases.

I did talk to the manager on duty. He was friendly and helpfull, and suggested delivering it to my kitchen when the stock was received and ready for packing, but I needed it then, not some time later.

Now i will have to waste even more time finding a store who actually have stock and then drive there to buy it!

Unexceptable! Especially with the law being so clear on consumer rights!
