Bad Attitude

I am from Cape Town and was on holiday in Prince AIbert. On 10 Jan 14 i bought R100 tenderised steak for supper at OK Grocer Prince Albert. I braised the steak and to my dismay the meat broke into pieces and looked like mince meat. I went back to the store which was a few km's away from where i stayed to buy other meat for supper and spent an additional R120.I informed the cashier of what happened and showed proof of purchase of the tenderised steak. Prince Albert is a very small town and she even remebered the purchase. She called the butcher assistant who said she can do nothing. I asked if I could speak to the manager. The cashier went to him Mr Colin Stockland who said there was nothing he could do. I asked whether i could talk to him. I was taken to his office and he wanted me to fetch the cooked meat as proof. He claimed i overcooked it. I disagreed because i am a professional caterer. He was adament and he wanted to see the meat.. I was not prepared to do so due to the price of petrol being so high. I felt he should have compromise the fact i spent extra money at his store. Visitors to this town please be aware of the TENDERISED STEAK at this store.
