No stock, false advertising, bad customer service

On Sunday went to 2 Hifi corporation stores, Clearwater and Fourways to buy Sansui multimedia player that was advertised on special, just to find that both branches did not have stock, staff in both branches not really willing to assist but at least Clearwater said that West gate branch might have, during this time never offering something equivalent at same price or really being helpful at all. After the drive to 2 stores already did not feel like driving to a 3rd store and probably being disappointed even more and wasting time and fuel decided to call it a day. Never did any staff member of any of the stores offer to get product in at special price or try to compensate for the fact that they did not have stock! I wonder if they has stock to begin with or all just a plan to get customers in store to buy something else at more expensive price.
