Hi
Cellphone not returned

Shops, Products, Services

I had bought a Blackberry 9360 phone at the Hi Store in Canal Walk, Century City in Cape Town in March but after about five days, I noticed that the charging block was defective. Hi is a subsidiary of The Foschini Group (TFG). I took it back to the store within seven days of having purchased it and was advised by one of the sales consultants to take it to Vodacom for an assessment.

I did that and Vodacom informed me that they would have to take it for assessments at the Repair Centre and then depending on the outcome, I would either be issued with a new phone or the phone would be repaired. The whole process was supposed to take two weeks. Two months later (May) I am still without a phone and upon following up with Vodacom, I was told the the OBF manufactural fault was approved by them in March already and the Hi store was either refunded or given a replacement phone. The Hi store was then supposed to contact me to fetch the phone or get a refund and I have as yet not heard a word from Hi.

In all instances I have had to be the one calling over and over.

I need confirmation as to where my phone or refund is. The OBF approval number is RabZJF and the job number is 8695559
