5 months ago we bought a R200 pair of earphones at CNS Bayside Mall which has been working fine until last week Thurs when my wife put it on as normal & the plastic / rubber that holds the headset together just snapped. I went back to the same shop on Sat 4th & the cashier said they don't have a Warranty on headsets then she went to speak to the Manager & then said its been 5 months (too long) then when I went to speak to the Manger he told me it was self inflicted damage - a load of rubbish in the same breathe he agreed with me when I told him you can see its a product fault. Nico (so called store Manager) then also said that CNA don't have suppliers to return the faulty producst too (so the products fall out of thin air) - as I informed him of the CPA he then sacastically told me to read up on it & get back to him - I work for HP SA & deal with these issues daily. I can't believe the total lack of service & respect for customers from CNA & a so called Store Manger who just refused to take responsibility but not just that he has NO customer service skills & just basically chased me away because he couldn't "Entertain me" any longer. Case logged with Consumer Concil.
