I PURCHASED A TOM TOM DEVICE FROM CNA ON THE 29TH APRIL 2013 THERE WAS NO DEMO DEVICE IN STORE AND THE SALESMAN OPENED REMOVED THE PLASTIC TO CHECK IF ALL THE CABLES ECT WERE IN THE BOX, ON RETURNING HOME MY HUSBAND SAID I SHOULD RETURN THE DEVICE AS OT WAS NOT SUITABLE AND HE SAID I SHOULD CREDIT THE ITEM, WHEN I TOOK IT BACK TO CNA THE GLEN ON THE 4 MAY 2013 I WAS MADE TO STAND THERE FOR A HALF AN HOUR WHILE THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT THE WOULD NOT CREDIT THE ITEM AS THE CLEAR PLASTIC HAD BEEN REMOVED FORM THE BOX, I ASKED HER TO SWITCH IT ON AND SHOW ME HOW IT WORKED IT WAS TOTALLY FOREIGN SHE BATTELED FOR 15 MINUTES TRYING TO GET IT ONTO A SOUTH AFRCAN SETTING AND IT STILL WOULD NOT RESPOND IN ENGLISH, I COULD SEE THAT IT WAS TOTALLY UNSUITABLE FOR MY NEEDS AND TOTALLY NOT USER FRIENDLY I DO NOT WANT THIS PRODUCT AND DEMAND A CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO EDGARS CNA ECT FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS AND DO NOT EXPECT TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS!! WHERE IS THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT WITH THIS CROWD? IF THEY STILL VALUE MY AND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND BUSINESS ASSOCIATES BUSINESS I SUGGEST THEY HANDLE THIS MATTER CAREFULLY
