We ordered a cot and compactum from Wetherlys Kya Sands in beginning March 2013, and paid in full for the items. We were told that delivery would take place within 6-8 weeks.
In middle April I phoned Kya Sands branch to follow up on the delivery and they couldn't assist because they were closing down and I was not informed of this beforehand.
I phoned head office and they informed me that the compactum is available, however the new delivery date for the cot has been moved to end JULY??? at which time our baby could already be born!! We said that this is unacceptable and they informed us that they may have a cot for us in Durban, which is in good condition, however it should not be moved around as the headboard comes loose??? How on earth is this acceptable???
This whole back-and-forth process has now taken over two weeks with no resolution and at this stage we would just like to arrange for a refund and go to a different supplier in time for our baby's arrival, as we cannot deal with this terrible service any longer!!!
To this day we have also not heard one word from our sales assistant at Kya Sands!!
