On the 2nd of May my wife purchase nursery furniture at Wetherlys Northgate. We were promised delivery within 4 to 6 weeks being the latest by Zakwe the salesman. This was just the start of a horrific shopping experience and bad customer service from beginning to end. From 7 weeks my wife phoned daily to follow up on the delivery of our furniture. During this time no calls were returned and no indication of progress was given. We then decided to take the matter further and contacted the manager and head office. 10 WEEKS LATER our nursery furniture finally arrived (every single item was damaged, in fact looked 2nd hand). The cot and compactum were two different whites, marked, scratched and badly chipped. We found head office to be completely unhelpful and unapologetic and demanded they come and collect the furniture immediately. The following day while collecting the damaged goods they damaged our brand new wooden flooring, took chunks of plaster out of our passage walls and still today, we are fighting for our refund on the furniture. This is far from what we expected from a "so called" reputable brand. We wish we had checked Hello Peter before entering Wetherlys that day.
