No feedback on new broken watch (CPA)

I bought my wife a Guess watch for her birthday at the end of March - it started loosing time within the first two weeks, we thought we might have been imagining it, so kept resetting it, eventually giving up and leaving it to loose time, and within a week it had lost over 3 hours.

We returned it to the store, American Swiss, Bayside Mall on 21 April and I insisted I do not want the watch repaired, but replaced under the provisions of the CPA - the store insisted it be sent away to be "inspected" which I agreed to, and again stipulated I do not want it repaired, it was well under a month old, and shouldn't need a service at this time. We were promised feedback that week. Nothing.

So today my wife called the store at lunch time, and was promised a call back within an hour, again nothing from the store - its now almost 5pm.

I will reiterate, I do not want the watch repaired, I do not want it replaced, due to the apparent lack of interest in basic service. I want the watch refunded, as per the provisions of the CPA.

We'll take our business elsewhere.
