Closed Account But Still Being Debited

I had just bought a new car (in 2007), had car track install a tracker in my car, and when it came time to sell the vehicle and cancel the car track account, i was told there would be a R1, 200 cancellation fee and i needed to send in reason im cancelling, and i.d document. I had done that about 3times, sending through the necessary documents and paid the cancellation fee, car track had been calling/hounding my family members for that money. Been 6 years later and ive found out ive been handed over to lawyers to pay an outstanding amount of R2000. This is no longer a professional service being offered, more of a money making scheme. Ive been looking for work, applying and nothing had come of it and i think its because i was blacklisted and didnt even know. I hope everyone who reads this takes into account that you cant really trust anyone. you go about clearing up something in a dignified manner and still get the shaft.
