Cancellation a nighmare

I cancelled my contract in December and was advised that no further payment would go through, it did and was advised that a refund would be done in 7 days. This was not done and after phoning again was advised that I had been charged for two vehicles, the one doesn't even exist. Was again promised that a refund of R6044.59 would be done in 4 days. More than a week later, make another call, it will now be processed today after the manager has authorized it. Will this really happen after all the promises already made. It is frightening that you have to keep calling to hopefully get something done.
