I am absolutely in shock and outraged by ADT and my 5.5 month long struggle with them to try and get a refund for money owed to me! I cancelled my subscription on the 23rd August 2013 to take action end Sept. After my account was fully inactive end Sept, ADT STILL debited an amount of R423 from my account for the month of October! I have tried and tried and tried to my wits end to get someone to sort this out. I have to wait a month at a time for any kind of contact, and then get made empty promises. In December I was sure this would be sorted as I was promised that the refund was on its way. I then go to my bank account and see that ADT refunded me an amount of R42.40. I have absolutely no idea where this number comes from. R42??? When I'm owed R423??? On the 15th Jan 14, I enquired about it. Never heard a word again until I sent another email today, whereby I get a reply saying "Your concerns have been expressed to management". This has been going on for FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS! No remorse from ADT, not a single person from management has contacted me, even after I have tried numerous times. No one at this company gives a dam about customer service!!! BEWARE of these people!!!
